Iron sharpens iron........

After coming across this verse today I began to think about it a little. You know sometimes we can get ourselves all worked up over the most ridiculous things and let something that really wasn't a big deal ruin our day.
It reminds me of the need to surround myself with people that encourage me, but also to be an encourager. Sometimes we are a little preoccupied with ourselves and what makes us feel happy, but I think that it is the wrong way of looking at things. Yes, I am important, but if I focus all on me, then what happens to everyone else. I guess what I really mean is that if we surround ourselves with God-fearing, loving people who offer good role models and less rubbish then that is what we will become ourselves. Iron sharpens iron......how we act, speak and encourage or influence can really affect others, and if we want to be sharp for God then we really have to be mindful of everything that we do, think and say all the time. Challenging......
I was helping someone out today.....she said that she saw me as strong.....heck I don't feel that way most times, but it's amazing how God shows you things through others.
Thank you God for;
1. being there and showing me what I need to know
2. blessings from unexpected places
3. rain that we have had over the past few days
4. people...
5. hope for the future
Blessings..............till next time, Love Kylie xxx

Hey Gorgeous,

In response to your name meaning 'boomerang' and your comment "...you'll never get rid of me..." I have one thing to say: I NEVER WANT TO GET RID OF YOU! You're friendship is too precious to me to ever get rid of, and I'm so glad that no matter where we are in life, or where God sends us, you will always boomerang back. Our friendship is like a bommerang on a never-ending journey... sounds busy... and if you ever need time out then you can come and rest in my 'meadow' anytime lol

Love you lots xox
Looks like I have some reading to do! Why was I not informed earlier ;)
