I Will Trust You..........

A few months ago in our music team we were asked to get items ready that could be used as a message in music at church and I dug around in my music collection to find this song. It is a song from one of the first Christian albums that I ever had by Twila Paris. Well, anyway, towards the end of music practice last night Kay asked if I would sing this song on Sunday, which was no problems, but I was really blown away by the timing and you know I think God knew that I needed to be reminded to trust Him with everything. I love the way that this song goes when it talks about "Do I trust You?" and then resolves to say "I will trust You", and as I sang it last night I really meant the words, "I will trust You, Lord, when I don't know why. I will trust You, Lord, till the day I die. I will trust You, Lord, when I'm blind with pain! You were God before, and You'll never change. I will trust You." It was a really great reminder to me of God's promise to me that He is faithful and always "in control".
Here are the words from the song, well, that part of it anyway, as it is a medley.

Do I Trust You?

Sometimes my little heart can't understand
What's in Your will, what's in Your plan.
So many times I'm tempted to ask You why,
But I can never forget it for long.
Lord, what You do could not be wrong.
So I believe You, even when I must cry.

Do I trust You, Lord? Does the river flow?
Do I trust You, Lord? Does the north wind blow?
You can see my heart,
You can read my mind,
And You got to know
I would rather die
Than to lose my faith
In the One I love.
Do I trust You, Lord? Do I trust You?

I will trust You, Lord, when I don't know why.
I will trust You, Lord, till the day I die.
I will trust You, Lord, when I'm blind with pain!
You were God before, and You'll never change.
I will trust You.
I will trust You.
I will trust You, Lord.
I will trust You.

Blessings on the journey...............Love Kylie xxx
